Unterlagen Willer: Frederick Krueger Farm - This home, eleven or so miles southwest of Warrenton, was built in 1855 by Frederick Krueger from Lippe, Detmold, Germany. He settled on this farm in Pinckney Township where he remained until his death in 1915. At first the house had one room, but in 1863 two rooms and a kitchen were added. Here he and Mrs. Krueger reared five children.
A tailor by trade, Mr. Krueger made suits to order for many men in the area. His solid walnut sleeve board is still preserved. He also farmed, raising stock and grain.
At his death, title passed to their son, Fritz H. Krueger, who reared seven children. From 1946 to 1974 Theodore Krueger owned the farm. This property was in the Krueger family for one hundred and nineteen years.
