Notizen zu Wilhelmina Katharine Amalie Oberkrome:
7. Wilhelmina "Mina" Katharine Amalie Oberkrome (Johann3, Simon2, Johan1); b. 18 Sep 1828 at Lippe-Detmold, Germany; one source has her birth at Aultenkow, Hanover, Germany; christened 21 Sep 1828 at Heiden, Lippe-Detmold, Germany; m. Theodor Herman Schneider, son of Anton Schneider and Elizabeth (---), 14 Apr 1855 at Gasconade County, Missouri; Cermony performed by the Reverend August Rouschenbusch. One source has Mina's birthdate as 22 Feb 1830. She is not found in the 1870 census so is presumed to have died prior to 1870. One source has her death as before Feb 1861 but this has not been confirmed. In the 1860 census Theodor Herman Schneider is listed as a farmer. He farmed the place known as the old Hermann Kurrelmeyer farm in Third Creek Township, now owned by Zvingley Kottwitz. On 20 Dec 1854 Theodor purchased land near the Oberkroms' (W/2 of Lot 1 of NW/4 of Sec 3-42N-61W Gasconade County, Missouri). There is considerable confusion about how many wives Theodor (some sources list his name as Theodore) had and in what year he married each of them. One source indicates he had 5 wives but we have only been able to find names of four. One source says he was married to Jane Stevens (the Osage County, Missouri marriage records show a Theodore Schneider marrying a Jane Stevens 27 Apr 1850 but the records list the father of Theodore as being a Peter Schneider so we doubt Jane Stevens was one of his wives). The 1880 census lists Adelheis Homfelt as a daughter living with the family (one can assume this is a daughter of Magdalina Homfeldt from a previous marriage of Magdalina's)... the census also lists Anna Homfeldt as a grand-daughter living with the family. On 12 Feb 1887 Theodor's personal property was sold because earlier he had been committed to an asylum having been found insane and dangerous to others by a jury. One source has his death at 11 Sep 1911, and another at 16 Aug 1899. He married Minnie Dumpke. He married Magdalina Homfeldt. He married Wilhemina K. Drusch on 15 Sep 1883. He was born on 19 Aug 1831 at Aultenkow, Hanover, Germany and died on 11 Sep 1900 at St. Joseph State Hospital Two, Buchanan Cty, Missouri, at age 69. He was buried at E&R Church Cemetery, Woollam, Missouri.
